EKITI QUEENS UNVEIL SABO OKALA AS NEW HEAD COACH

Nigeria Women’s Football League, NWFL side, Ekiti Queens have presented their new Head Coach, Sabo Okala to the media and members of the public.

At a colorful unveiling ceremony held on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti, the Sports Advisor to Ekiti State Governor, Dr Mrs Olusola Osetoba, presented Coach Okala with the club’s jersey.

Mrs. Osetoba said the development was to herald a new for the club as they intend to make a significant impact on the upcoming football season.

She said the Ekiti State Government will continue to heighten its commitment to strengthening the club ahead of the new season.

Dr Osetoba expressed confidence in Okala’s experience and ability to build a competitive team capable of achieving greater success, urging him to justify the confidence reposed in him.

Coach Okala appreciated the Ekiti State Government and the management of Ekiti Queens FC for the opportunity, promising to work diligently with the players and technical crew to meet the expectations of the club and its supporters.

Coach Okala is fast becoming one of the notable names in women’s football in Nigeria.

His coaching experience has spanned through a decade with Confluence Queens, Honey Badgers and Naija Ratels.

The former BCC Lions and Niger Tornaodes’ defender is expected to turnaround the status of Ekiti Queens and make them one of the formidable clubs in the Nigeria women’s football ecosystem.
