The Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe (HAMA), has concluded plans to organise a One Million Youth March in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The march is scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 8, 2026, in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Comrade Achor Emmanuel, participants will assemble at the Olamaboro Local Government Secretariat, from where the procession will move to the Ceremonial Square, Okpo.
The event is expected to commence at 10:00 a.m.The statement called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), party stakeholders, supporters, youths, women, and other well-wishers to come out in large numbers and participate in the march.
It added that the rally is powered by Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe (HAMA) as a demonstration of solidarity and support for the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The organisers noted that the event is expected to unite party faithful under the banner of one voice, one vision, and one purpose, expressing confidence that the march will mark a significant moment in the political landscape of Nigeria, Kogi State, and Olamaboro Local Government Area.
