INTER PARTY ADVISORY COUNCIL (IPAC), KOGI STATE ELECT NEW EXECUTIVES

Kogi State chapter of Inter party advisory counci, IPAC has elected new leaders to pilot the affairs of the opposition group for the next two years.

The election which was conducted on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 at the premises of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC and monitored by the electoral umpire’s officials was carried out in an orderly manner devoid of any rancour or acrimony.

At the end of the contest which was adjudged to be free, fair and orderly, the Chairman, Honourable Iliyas Badanga was overwhelmingly returned to continue leading the body of opposition political parties in the state after what many members described as quality representation.

In his post election speech, the victorious chairman Honourable Badanga thanked all political party chairmen for believing in him and his leadership style. He promised to continue working hard and assidiously for the progress and benefit of the group while also synergizing with the government of the day for a harmonious coexistence.

He however called on those who contested with him to sheath their swords and other war arsenal’s and join him to move IPAC to an enviable height as a viable group especially as the 2027 general election draws near. He promised to carry everybody along in the new scheme of things.
