The Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu has joined the Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi and other Officers for the Police Day Walkathon, a fitness & awareness campaign across major routes within Lokoja metropolis to promote public awareness and police-community engagement.
The walk is a part of a line up of programme to commemorate the National Police Day 2026.Others include a sensitization Programme at the Command Headquarters with the theme: “Dangers of Electoral Violence and the Importance of Safe Driving Practices,” as well as presentation of cheques to families of fallen heroes in recognition of their sacrifice and service to the nation.
