The Senior Special Assistant on Youth mobilisation to the executive governor Honourable Comrade Victor MD Kpanaki has called on youths across Bassa Local Government Area and Kogi Eastern Senatorial district to participate actively in the political process and mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo ahead of their respective second-term bids.

Hon. Kpanaki said his call was based on what he described as the exceptional performance of the two leaders and the reforms introduced by the Tinubu administration to stabilise the nation’s economy.
He acknowledged that the current economic situation remained challenging for many Nigerians but expressed optimism that the ongoing reforms would yield positive results in no distant time.

According to him, President Tinubu’s recent remarks about light at the end of the tunnel reflect the administration’s confidence that the country would overcome its present economic challenges and leap into prosperity.
He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and allow the government more time to implement its policies and achieve the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Honourable Kpanaki further appealed to youths in Bassa Local Government Area Kogi East to participate in the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for Saturday 17th October and support the incumbent chairman Mr Theophilus Adama and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stressed the importance of youth participation in the democratic process, urging young people to remain politically active and contribute to decisions that will shape the future of their communities.
He maintained that sustained political participation would enable youths to make their voices heard and contribute to governance at both the local and national levels.
